Weird Michigan Wax Museum
Located In St. Ignace Michigan

Located just six minutes from the Mackinac Bridge in the beautiful and rustic upper peninsula of Michigan, The Weird Michigan Wax Museum is an educational and fun experience for families and tour groups of all ages. The truly unique museum is a "must see" for all visitors to Michigan.

Michigan is known for its abundance of colorful characters and curious happenings. The Weird Michigan Wax Museum recreates history and folklore with dioramas featuring life-sized wax figures. Visitors have found the self-guided tour engaging, humorous and riveting.

Among our many exhibits are actual historic figures such as the King of Beaver Island, The Underground Railroad Female Stationmaster, The Grand Rapids Wooden Leg Murderer and a long-bearded religious sect travelling baseball team. Also featured are figures from legend and folklore such as the Snake Princess of Belle Isle, the Soop Cemetery ghosts and the Michigan Dog Man.

Our goal always has been to create an affordable attraction which caters to family members of all ages. It is important to us that we are family affordable; our admission price is only a fraction of that for almost all other celebrity wax museums; for example, Madame Tussaud's Museums charge just under $30 for an adult admission. Our adult rate is only $7. Special rates are also available for children and groups.

Contact us for group rates or if you have any other questions. We would also be happy to send you a free brochure. We look forward to your visit!
